Have you seen our latest mailer to hit boxes? This is what was sent last week:

It’s Happening! We are re-making history!

Hold on tight, because we’re about to take this building restoration phase to the next level! The Ballroom is now under construction! Together we’ve already accomplished much but the work is not finished yet.

Thanks in part to our 2022 LCHIP grant and a grant from the the Fuller Foundation, plastering on the second floor ballroom is underway with many more projects pending based on the ability to fund them.

On the task list:

  • Painting, sanding, staining doors & floors
  • Reconditioning the banister & entry stairs
  • Building an ADA compliant bathroom
  • Installation of new wall sconces to complement refurbished 1918 lighting fixtures

We need your help to finish these final second phase tasks so before the year is over we can once again Open the Ballroom to the public and for event rentals.

We are ready to restore some history and make this building shine again but we need additional funding to complete the work.
